What is the minimum wage?

The minimum wage stipulated by the FLSA was recently raised to $7.25 per hour. This law pertains to all employees who are engaged in commerce; home workers in Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands; employees in American Samoa; seamen on American vessels; and agricultural employees. Employees deserve the legal minimum wage, despite where they work. People who have been cheated from the wage they deserve should seek legal counsel immediately.

If your employer is not paying you the minimum wage required by the FLSA, contact the overtime lawyers of Tycko & Zavareei LLP at 202-973-0900 to determine your legal options.
