Jodee Flint
Jodee Flint graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997. While a student, she served as an associate editor on the Georgetown Law Journal, as staff on the Journal’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure, and clerked for the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. In 1994, Ms. Flint earned her Bachelor’s Degree cum laude in Government and International Relations, and Spanish Language and Literature, from the University of Notre Dame. While at Notre Dame, Ms. Flint served in student government as one of the University’s first Women’s Concerns Commissioners.
After law school, Ms. Flint joined the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, one of the nation’s preeminent firms. Her practice focused on civil litigation, particularly in the areas of antitrust, medical malpractice, insurance, and environmental law. She conducted discovery, researched and drafted memoranda and dispositive motions, and travelled to Mexico to assist and translate in a money laundering and bank fraud investigation. Ms. Flint also worked in the firm’s appellate practice. While an associate at Gibson, Dunn, Ms. Flint successfully represented a Spanish-speaking client in a complex third-party custody suit, including negotiating visitation rights, obtaining temporary restraining orders, and arguing successfully for termination of parental rights.
Ms. Flint joined Tycko & Zavareei LLP as Of Counsel in 2008. She has participated in litigation involving Lanham Act claims, unfair competition and banking law.
Ms. Flint is a member of the California and District of Columbia bars.
